No rejection slips as team NRC struggles to give reasons

The final NRC had found a total of 31,121,004 persons eligible for inclusion in the registry, leaving out 1,906,657 persons. Nearly six months on, the process of issuing of slips has et to start. The Assam government has announced that it is setting up 200 new foreigners’ tribunals.
