Punjab may withdraw power subsidy to ‘large’ farmers

The final decision on the move, that could trigger a massive reaction from the state’s farming community, has not yet been taken. The subsidy for small and marginal farmers would continue. Rich farmers, according to the state government, are those with ‘medium’ and ‘large’ landholdings.
