India begins work on tunnels along border with China

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), which is handling the construction, has issued a global tender for a tunnel under the Brahmaputra River in Assam, while it has also begun excavating a tunnel under the Sela Pass in Arunachal Pradesh, officials said.
