Bihar new policy for population control to be ready soon

Bihar was one of the seven states called to participate in the first public consultation scheduled by the Niti Aayog last week on population-control measures. According to studies, Bihar fares poorly on all the three factors that cause a decline in fertility rates — age during marriage, use of contraceptives and induced abortions.
